We are very proud to support our colleague, Tomas Masaryk, who is an outstanding tennis player.
Tomas Masaryk was born twice… A tragic car accident and its consequences has opened a perspective on life. He lives his second life as a trader, athlete, and a motivational speaker.
Wheelchair tennis is played exactly according to the rules of walking tennis players. The first difference is that in wheelchair tennis, the ball can hit the ground twice. The second difference concerns rewards. While healthy tennis players make a living from the sport, players in wheelchairs depend on strong sponsors. Around 150 tournaments are organized in the world during the year. During the 18 years of his sports career, Tomas managed to win 200 trophies also as a representative of Slovakia.
Since March 2022, Tomas has participated in 11 tournaments and managed to improve to be in world rank:
11th in the world in singles Rank
8th in the world in doubles Rank
Usually, players play around 15-20 international tournaments per year. His dream is to fight for the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. To be continued…
LS Alloys is supporting the girls’ team of Volley-ball Club Houffalize.
We love to follow their achievements through the years.
